Lists

Lists at /lists (“Manage contact and company lists”) is where the tenant keeps reusable record lists: the segments the team opens daily instead of rebuilding from scratch. A list worth keeping is a filter with a name; a filter rebuilt every morning is a list missing its save.

  • The header carries the purpose (“Manage contact and company lists”) and a New List action. Advanced Filters sits above the table: search, sort, columns, and Add filter.
  • The table lists name, type, members, and last refreshed per row.
  • Type chips split the directory the list segments: Company lists read from Companies, Contact lists from Contacts.

  • Name a list for its membership rule, not its moment. “State = Florida” still reads true in a year; a campaign-dated name does not.
  • A stale list is worse than no list: last-refreshed ages past a few months mean the membership is a snapshot, not a segment. Refresh or delete.
  • Views shape how a list renders; the org default for the views the team opens daily is set under Table Views.
  • Contacts: the people directory lists segment.
  • Companies: the organization directory lists segment.
  • Table Views: the saved views and org defaults behind the rendering.
