Copy

Copy at /copy (Copy Docs: “Create and manage copy briefs and content”) is the written-output workspace: the words behind client-facing deliverables. Drafts live here; the verdict on whether the words shipped lives on the record they serve.

  • The header reads “Copy Docs — Create and manage copy briefs and content”. The filter bar carries title search, sort, and Company, Project, Type, Status, Owner, Task Status, and Due Date dropdowns, with an Active toggle. The table lists title, owner, status, task status, due date, company, and project per row, with a per-row menu.
  • The owner-plus-task-status pair says who holds the brief and whether its work is live: closed task statuses evidence closed work, not active writing.

  • A draft without an owner is a rumor with formatting. Attach every piece to the work item it serves before it leaves this surface — unattached copy gets reviewed twice and shipped never.
  • Review copy where the work is tracked, not where it was written. Client sign-off runs on the deliverable; assignment notices route through Inbox.
  • Repeatable written shapes belong in Templates. If the same brief gets rebuilt every week, the template should exist.
  • Deliverables: the client-facing outputs copy serves.
  • Templates: repeatable written shapes.
  • Designs: the visual side of the same outputs.
  • Inbox: the attention queue when copy needs review.
