Tooltips

Onboarding Tooltips creates and manages guided tooltip tours for users. Each row names a tour with its title, target pages, step count, status, and actions. The rows shown are dark-mode-intro (Dark Mode Introduction, All pages, 4 steps, Active) and home-agent-ops-reporting (Agent Ops is now Home, All pages, 2 steps, Active). New Tooltip creates a tour.

Keep tours short and targeted. A 2-to-4-step tour on all pages teaches one change; longer tours get dismissed.

  • Name identifies the tour in Settings; title is what users see.
  • Page targeting (All pages in both rows shown) decides where the tour fires; steps count the tour length.
  • Active status gates whether the tour runs; actions edit, reorder, or remove it.
