File Tags

File Tag Manager holds predefined tags for file organization and categorization. Two tabs split the surface: Tags and Categories. The tag table shows each tag with its category, usage count, active status, created date, and edit/delete actions. The visible rows include Approved (Status, 0 files), Archive (Status, 0 files), Brand Assets (Brand, 0 files), Brand Kit (Brand, 0 files), and Canva Design (Content, 17 files), all Active. The category picker filters (All Categories shown); Add Tag creates.

Define tags before files need them. Deleting a tag in use strands the files that carry it, so check usage first.

  • Tags tab lists each tag with category, usage, and status. Categories tab manages the category set.
  • Usage counts show how many files carry each tag; 0-file tags are safe to remove.
  • Active status gates whether the tag is available for new files.
